Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years experience in a management position in a humanitarian organisation
- Proven management skills in the following: human resources; project management; budget management
- Knowledge and experience in international policy and context analysis
- Experience with complex security situations in unstable or conflict areas
- Experience in dealing with national authorities, national and international NGO’s/UN bodies
- Affinity with medical programmes
- Knowledge of, and belief in, the advocacy role of MSF
Assets:
- Previous field experience with MSF
- Previous experience in a similar role with another NGO
- Advanced studies in public health or related subjects such as international relations, refugee or international humanitarian law, development studies or anthropology
- Interest and/or experience dealing with the media
